As the title suggests, the film is an urban crime/drama taken in the inner city and also deals with issues such as crime, drugs, poverty, underage sex, etc. The title ‘Kidulthood’ implies that this film consists of events and situations that show the transition of a child to being an adult or even trying to be an adult. The film is about the life of several teenagers in the West of London.
